The "quick couplings" of the 1000 series have been studied into their dimensional structure (thickness and dimensions) as well as their main characteristic (the fitting cone with its unique barb shape) in order to satisfy the requirements of the field of work, that is pneumatic plant.
The compression cone with its unique barb shape ensures a good grip on the tube even if the nut is tightened by hand.
In this range of remarkable interest are the fittings called "Swivel", they satisfy the most varied and complicated assembly requirements as it is possible to turn the bodies at 360 degrees compared to the bases.
Temperatures and Pressures
The working pressures and working temperatures depend on which type of tube is used, for this reason, the values must be determined in accordance with the tube's features.
For the "swivel" fittings, the values are:
Minimum pressure: 0,99 bar (-0.099 MPa)
Maximum pressure: 15 bar (1.5 MPa)
Minimum temperature: -20° C
Maximum temperature: +80° C

Assembling
1 Insert the tube on the nut.

2 Thread the tube on the fitting cone.
|
|
|
3 Tighten the nut by hand or with a spanner.
|
|
Fittings are available in the following size:
tube from 4/2,7 to up 15/12,5;
thread of 1/8 to 1/2.
